Enigma, Inc., of Burlington, Mass., needed to establish its presence in a fast-growing, highly competitive market before the current volume leader gained too much ground. The company also wanted to attract talented regional employees and to communicate news about its history and its innovative product to the public.
The software allows publishers to combine documents created in multiple authoring formats, such as word processors, multimedia, and SGML, into a unified electronic publication that can be distributed on a CD-ROM. Customers who use the software can thereby take advantage of all the knowledge stored in these disparate documents, sharing it in an easy-to-access format across the enterprise.
Working with a major New England daily, Parker Group facilitated an extensive feature article in the business section of the newspaper. The article increased the client's exposure to potential customers and employees, served as a complete company history, and provided an outlook on the company's future. Editors from trade and international business publications read the article and responded with their own inquiries.
